Cease All Fear

Cease All Fear

Written by Scott Wainwright

Jesus asleep at the back of the boat

The Disciples had given up all hope

''Master rise, do you not care?''

They couldn't see help anywhere

But he awoke, drew them near

Calmed the storm and ceased all fear

He ceased all fear, ceased all fear

After all, what is this life?

If not a sea of trouble and strife?

So much hurt, so little care

We cannot see help anywhere

So closer to God I will near

Let him calm the storm and cease all fear

He'll cease all fear, cease all fear

We have have heard of famine and wars

We can barely row these oars

In a sea of trouble we poorly fare

We cannot see help anywhere

But I will sing to God with cheer

Watch him calm the storm, cease all fear

He'll cease all fear, cease all fear
